Glory after death

Luke 24:46-47

Then He said to them,
“Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer
and to rise from the dead the third day,
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name
to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

There is resurrection power in Christ,
and if you believe,
you are part of what we called
the body of Christ.

Means that when we believe, we know that the same resurrection power that rise Jesus from the dead is made available in our life.

Amen!

How do we then move from this temporary mortal body,
a perishable shell to an eternal, full of glory, everlasting, imperishable body?

Only through believing in Christ after we die right?

The same thing applies in our giving to God!

the bible says, only when we allow the grain of seed to die,
it will then produces many more.

we must allow the offering we give to "die", not holding it back.
and not just the process of death but you believe!

you must have faith that the seed will die and produce more!

you giving may just be a few bucks,
but through the resurrection power,
God is able to turn it from little to abundance, full of glory!

Amen

Faithfulness in the beginning

Matthew 18:12-13

“What do you think?

If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?

And if he should find it,

assuredly, I say to you,

he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

how many of you holds a hundred people under you before?

...

many of us here may not,

but its only present,

your future is not determine yet!

Put on your thinking hat now.

the hundred sheep are represented by the important things in your life.

hold here for a moment..

how many of you knows that God is a rewarded of those who are faithful in the little things?

and more will be given

this man, this shepherd must have been very faithful in the little in the beginning,

thats why he got a hundred!

and remaining faithful is not easy,

he go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying,

he has got to climb the mountains!

now lets come back.

the hundred sheep are represented by the important things in your life.

but you do not have them yet,

what you have is just a few important things to begin with,

your people you are shepherding,

your tithes and offering,

if you can be faithful to begin with,

you will receive your hundred soon.

Amen

why do we still give?

Psalm 50:9-11. (New Living Translation)

But I do not need the bulls from your barns
or the goats from your pens.

For all the animals of the forest are mine,
and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.

I know every bird on the mountains,
and all the animals of the field are mine.

why do we still give?

let me share with you something tonight,
since God has all, what does He not have?

You and i are born into this world with a free will,
to choose for ourself,
we choose to receive salvation,
meaning we give our heart to Jesus.

God does not have your heart.

and God wants your heart,

Matthew 6:21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Only if you give your heart, where your treasure is,
will then God, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills accept your offering.

Amen.
